Black history Fact ??right now

It occurred to me today that another Black History Month (BHM) is here and gone faster. It sounds easy to say, because Birmingham is the shortest month of the year. But there is a discussion for another time. It's that time of year many of us decide for him, remember the black heroes, and rightly so, because for the rest of the year, many of us will do our best to raise two aspects of our culture the most negative (ie pimps, ho, clubs, drug dealers) and at the same time destroy the work of those who give a better example.Case in point, I was sitting in McDonald a few days ago about a small group of urban youth. The conversation was so strong that it seriously hampered my enjoyment of the food was awful (just killed a potential sponsor). The topic of conversation ranged from a glorious celebration of poetry Wayne Lil 'dynamic (laughter suggested writing) and degradation of black womenI heard the other and the topic moved to the glorification of local gangster prison. Frankly, I wanted to jump overboard and try to bring the crowd in order. When I returned to my seat for the bombardment of micro verbal bring my speech prepared for Rose, who were against me, as if provoked by the internal alarm call an authority figure in the opposite direction. When she moved out and refused to make eye contact, sat. I was by the fact that these young men had sadly not idols. They had no one to carry a positive nature. I leaned back and began to think maybe the time to stop the celebration of the human rights activists are pressing. If you take a survey on the youth of today, you will find that learning more about Mary J. Blige Mary McLeod Bethune. How can you really appreciate the dream of Dr. King, if not available through their own dreams, the reference. Maybe we should celebrate the heroes should be a little closer to home.I think The Great Debaters. On the surface of the film on the great success of a team of Wiley College debate was depression (though not the real enemy really Harvard, Stanford) is. However, if you look at the benefits and deeper message, the story is a celebration of people who do their work, are the best of their abilities. The coach, whose job was to teach and students whose work was to learn I have two are so proud to say that is rarely seen today.Pride young something rare in modern experience, but is proud that he has mastered the black after years of oppression. To retrieve the pride of our children with the celebration of the things that can be seen. This month, Black History, grandmother, all he could for his family more than they give themselves to celebrate. This month, Black History honor his father, who works hard to pay child support on time and spent time raising their children, even though he and his mother are not together. This month, Black History can be our hero for the communities, so that we can show our children that they have something. So maybe, just maybe, they'll stop feeling and acting like nothing.
